I have been asked to post more recent pictures of the house so here are a few of the newest things that we have added!! Not too much is new but I do have to redecorate a few things, haha. (Most of you know this!) I get tired of the same ol' things! What can I say, I love to decorate!! :)

Brock and Lizzy Come to Visit!!

Brock and Lizzy flew down for vacation for a week to relax and see what Florida was all about! The four of us had an awesome week together!! We went to the beach while they were here and Lizzy informed me that it was only her second trip to the beach! It turned out to be a beautiful day and the water was crystal clear! Jordon showed Brock how to skim board, which was extremely funny and quite entertaining as us girls layed on the beach! We had a blast! Then Brock decides that he wants to see what it would be like to become a midget so he burried himself in the sand and put his shoes where his knees were and it actually did look like he was a midget! It was soo funny! He's a trip! Then later that night we all went to Margaritaville and had dinner and then went put-putting! Lizzy and I both beat the guys so needless to say we were pretty happy the whole way home! Haha While they were here we went to Destin for the day and went to the Jerky outlet and shopped around for a bit. That night Mike, Mary Lou, and Fritz all drove down for the fishing trip the next day. That night we all went down to Pier Park and ate dinner at Hofbrau Beer Garden and then went out to the beach to see the sunset. The guys all decided they were gonna jump in and body surf the waves! They had a blast! The next morning we head down to the boat to go on our deep sea fishing trip, we were all super excited! As soon as we got on the boat the Captain tells us that the water is gonna be "a bit choppy today", but none of us think anything about it and just brush it off. Well, we were trollying out of the bay and into the gulf and the waves just started getting bigger and bigger so the boat started rocking pretty bad and then it hit all of us girls! We were all so sea sick that we could barely even watch the guys fish! The waves were 8 foot swells and even though we were on a 58 ft boat, we could still feel the waves! The trip was really good for the guys, they caught their limit on the red snapper pretty quick and they had a lot of fun doing it!! We had a lot of fun with all of our company! We hope to be able to see everyone again soon!

Nursing Graduation and Family Fishing Trip!

As you all probably know I have literally been working my butt of in nursing school and on June 10, 2010 it all finally became real! I graduated the nursing program and can now be called a "nurse" !! Finally, I have been waiting for this for it seems like soo long! All I could think was "if this is what it feels like to have your dreams become reality and come true then I am not stopping here!" And I didn't, I have still been in school double time over the summer taking 16 hours which I know is crazy but hey I guess I can say I get what I want and it feels amazing to get something that you have worked so hard for !! I am almost done with my summer classes and then I have two weeks off to relax and then right back at it for the fall! I'm super excited!! My parents, brother, and grandparents flew in from Oklahoma City and Jordon's family also drove down for my graduation! It meant a lot to have to many people supporting me at my graduation! The next day I come home to a suprise party that my wonderful husband had put together with my best friend Brittni! I was very suprised; there were streamers hanging all over the house and food and wine and beer for everyone!! A girl couldn't ask for more! We all hung out and visited and then later that night Brittni headed home and me and Jord, Chase, my parents, and grandparents all loaded up some clothes, skim boards, beach chairs, and golf clubs and headed to Destin for the weekend!!! I have to say this was the best part of their visit! It was like a vacation within a vacation! We got to the hotel and then found out that they had what they call "the managers special" which is from 5-7 EVERYNIGHT you can get all you can eat snacks AND all you can drink alcohol! Needless to say we all enjoyed it! Every night we all played "chicken foot" which is a domino game that me and my family have been playing on family vacations since I was a little girl! The rest of the weekend we relaxed at the beach, the guys went golfing, and of course us girls hit the shops!!! Once the weekend was over we all headed back to our house and got things ready for the fishing trip the next day! We all went on a 6hr deep sea fishing trip and had a BLAST!! We caught 200 lbs of fish and had a blast doing it! We caught amberjack, red snapper, and spanish mackerel. We all had a great time together! The best graduation weekend I could ever imagine!!

Week trip to Oklahoma for Mother's Day!

Jordon and I flew to Oklahoma City for Mother's day! We had such an awesome time! We always have so much fun when we go there; everything is always so relaxing and we always get to see all of the family! That day we got to the house and helped mom and dad finish up their yard work which was suprisingly a lot of fun. It was funny watching Chase and Jordon in the tractor and the wagon. Haha Chase also thought he was a big shot because they were using his truck to pull the trees up!! Then Jordon thought he could out do me on the dirt bike!! Haha BOYS!! The day after we got there we drove down to Blanchard to suprise my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! It was a lot of fun and everybody was super suprised! Of course then all the guys get together and go do their own thing and us girls hit the shops!! It was a blast! The next day mom, dad, Chase, Jordon, and I decide that we want to go try out these go karts that we had heard go about 50 mph.. we had to suite up in sock caps, helmets, and go through a training course! Once we got in the karts we were ready to race; however we were not prepared to go quite as fast as we did!!! Haha It was soo much fun! The track was in doors which seemed weird but it was extremely fun! On Mother's Day all of the family came up to my parents house and we cooked out and visited! It was a very special day because both of my great grandmothers were able to make it, so we all visited and had a great time!

Jordon's TDY to VEGAS!!!

On February 22, 2010 we went into work to get ready to load up on a KC-10 with all of our cargo and all of us. I was one of the few to get picked to help with loading all of our cargo into the KC-10 and that was pretty cool. Once we were all loaded up we headed out to Nellis AFB. While we were flying out there, the jets that were flying right on the wings of the KC-10!! It was impressive, there was 2 on one side and 2 on the other. It was a 4 hour flight out there but once we got there it was nothing but mountains and nice crisp air. I loved it!!! After we got there it wasnt play time, we had everything to unload and went right to work on the jets that flew out there with us. For the rest of the week it was bust'n ass time and thats exactly what we did! We had first flights going up around 5 am and then when they landed we only had an hour to get them ready and turn them right around and go back up. It was like that the whole first week and we worked our ass off! Then friday came around and it was my time to get a ride in the F-15 Eagle!!!! HOLY SHIT I WAS EXCITED!!

Friday morning i went and got dressed and met up with my pilot. We went out to the jet and got started up and headed down to the end of the runway to get ready for our takeoff! By this time my adrenaline is maxed out and im pumped!!!! We got cleared to takeoff so we lit the burners and let off the brakes and started haul'n ass down the runway. We got down to the end and were only about 100 ft off the deck and parallel to the ground and then he pulled straight back and we went completely vertical and went from 100-16,000 ft in about 4 seconds!!!! It was the coolest thing i have ever experienced! Then we went and flew over Area 51 and then headed on to Death Valley. While we were flying we pulled 7.5 G's and then pulled another 8.0 G's!!! THAT SHIT WAS INTENSE!!!!!! Then the pilot let me fly and said to give her hell so i did some barrel rolls and a "S" turn and then some G force turns and i got up to pulling 5.5 G's. This whole experience was the experience of a lifetime and i dont think i will ever be happy after riding a roller coaster again because nothing could ever amount to this ride!! All of us guys would go downtown some nights to see the strip to see everything down there. I thought it was pretty cool and amazing how some of the places were built, but definately an expensive city to be in or even live in. It is nothing but a huge money bank. All in all we all had a great time and it was definately my trip of a lifetime and would love to do it all again!

Jordon's Suprise 22nd Birthday!

For Jordon's birthday I sent out a mass text to all of his friends he works with and told them to come over and suprise Jord for his birthday! Jordon went over to Jarrod and Shandel's that day to hang out because me and Brittni told him we were going to have a "girls day" and go shopping, so of course he didn't want to go! haha Then we went to walmart and target and got lots of food for us to cook for all the guests and then his friends all headed over about 7 o'clock and we all hid in the garage when Jarrod and Shandel brought him home.. he walked into the garage looking for everyone and we all yelled "SUPRISE"!!! We all had a lot of fun and ate lots of food! He was really suprised and had no idea! Haha It was a good night!

One year anniversary and New Years!

Jordon and I have been married for one year as of December 27, 2009! For our anniversary we went to Destin and shopped around and then ate at an amazing sushi bar. It was really good! Jordon got me a beautiful journey necklace for our anniversary. The journey necklace represents the journey of your life together. I love it!

For New Years, my friend Brittni came down and we all went to Panama City Beach to celebrate. At Pier Park they were having the "beach ball drop" and count down. We all went to this new country bar/club called Tootsies and listened to country music and danced all night! It was a lot of fun, then we watched fireworks at midnight!! It was a blast!

Christmas 2009 in Georgia

This year for Christmas me and Jordon celebrated at our house a few days before Christmas and then went up to Georgia to his parents house to celebrate Christmas day! We had a really good time! The dogs had a good time too! Haha We woke up Christmas morning to a livingroom full of gifts and stuffed stockings!! Santa didn't forget the dogs either, they had toys and treats and bones all over the place! Jordon's parents made an amazing Christmas dinner and we watched "A Christmas Story" that night! It was a very relaxing weekend and we had an amazing time!

Mandi's 21st Birthday!

For my birthday JOrdon took me to a wine tasting down at the beach and then to dinner at a nice resturant called "Firefly". The food was really awesome! It was a neat resturant; the same person who designed Disney World designed this restraunt and it was build around a huge oak tree. It was a beautiful place. It was a really relaxing birthday which is exactly what I wanted. We went to the wine tasting which was really neat; we got to taste 12 different wines and the guy that owns the place provided small foods with each tasting. It was a really neat experience.

Our First Christmas!

Jordon and I are very excited for Christmas this year since it is our first Christmas together as a "married couple"! It has been very fun decorating the tree and putting up stockings and decorations! We went to Sams Club and got ornaments and a tree skirt and stockings! It was alot of fun!!! It has been hard keeping Jordon out of the gifts, ha ha; but it's still lots of fun! I know my family has been super excited to see pictures of our decorating so here are a few! We don't have too many decorations yet but as the years go on we will add to them!!

Last night Jordon and I went to his Squadron Christmas party! We had a lot of fun, they raffled off a bunch of prizes and then we had a nice dinner! We had a good time with all of the guys he works with!

Thanksgiving Trip to Oklahoma!

This past week Jord, Rocky, and I took a road trip to my parents house in Edmond, Oklahoma. We left last Friday and drove the whole 14 hours and got there really early Saturday morning. Later Saturday my parents, brother, and us went to a mexican resturant in Bricktown called Abuelos. It has always been my families favorite place to eat mexican food! After we ate we walked around Bricktown; we went into Toby Keiths' "I Love This Bar and Grill" resturant to see what the score of the OU game was. It was a really neat place; we went in a few shops and looked around and then my dad decided he wanted to take us to the Oklahoma City bombing memorial. In the memorial there are two tall black walls that have either 9:01 or 9:03 on them. These times are the begining of destruction and the end of destruction. It was very neat and we really enjoyed being there. After we had taken the tour around the area one of the guides told us that everyone who visited the memorial should put their hand in the water and then place it on the black wall and your hand print would be placed on the wall forever. It was really neat how the handprint stayed; it was a very neat experience. The next day we got up and all went to breakfast at a local country resturant, it was very good! After that we headed to my grandparents house in Blanchard to sight in Jordon's rifle and do a little trap shooting. Once we got there my grandpa asked me to come in his gun shop and he handed me a shotgun that I used to shoot trap with when I was younger and he said "take good care of this" ! I was so excited, we went out to the pasture and sighted in Jordon's rifle and then my grandpa handed me his gun that he likes to call his "crazy hefer" (haha) and told me to shoot at a target he had posted. I actually suprised myself and did a really good job for not shooting in a few years. After that we headed up to my uncle's house and had a little trap shooting tournament and suprisingly I did better than any of the guys! haha I couldn't belive it! It was a lot of fun! Later that week me and Jordon and my brother Chase went back down to my grandparents house and went hunting, we didnt see anything but it was still a lot of fun! Thanksgiving morning we woke up to the smell of moms wonderful cooking!!! We had a lot of family over; my grandparents, uncles, aunt, cousins, and both of my great grandmas! We ate a huge amazing meal! We also rode a 1971 Honda motorcycle that my grandpa fixed up and passed down to my brother! It was halarious! Rocky had an amazing time, he ran all over the pastures; he had a ball! After dinner and later that evening we sat down and played a game called "Chicken Foot". It's a domino game that is a tradition for my family at get togethers!! It was really fun! We weren't ready to leave, we had so much fun!

Tracy Lawrence Concert in Apalachicola!

A few weekends ago me, Jord, his friends from work all loaded up and went to Apalachicola, FL for the Seafood Festival! Tracy Lawrence was playing that night $5 a ticket, so of course me and Jord couldn't pass it up! haha We had heard people talking about how great the food is and how they have every kind of seafood you could imagine. Well that was right up our alley; when we got there Jord and I each got a bowl of seafood gumbo! It was amazing!!! After we walked around a bit, we wondered up to the front of the stage and waited on Tracy Lawrence! He did an amazing performance! It was awesome! He sang a few of our favorite songs and he also had a cover band sing the new song by Tim Mcgraw "Southern Voice". If you haven't heard it, Tim Mcgraw is singing about Apalachicola, so it was really neat for them to play that song! We loved it! After the concert we all went to a local resturant that was doing kareoke and all the guys sang "Piano Man"! Haha

Pumpkin Carving!

This weekend me and Jordon went to a pumpkin patch and picked some pumpkins to carve. It was a lot of fun! My friend Brittni was down for the weekend and she came to help out! haha First, we picked out Rocky's pumpkin (because of course he has to have a pumpkin too) and it was a small, perfectly round one! Then me and Jord picked one out, but it was between two and we couldn't decide so we got both! And then we got two really small ones for inside! Haha We came home and started carving Rocky's and then ours! It was a lot of fun!! We also baked the pumpkin seeds. Here are a few pictures of the whole picking and carving process:

Rocky's 2nd Birthday!

Rocky turned two years old on September 24th. Me and Jord had to bake him a dog cake, so we looked online and found a recipe for a dog birthday cake. So we went to the store and got everything that was needed for the cake; like beef baby food and bacon bits, it called for really weird ingredients, but it was a recipe that would not make him sick! We also went out and bought a number 2 candle and put it on the top of his piece. haha We could'nt help it!

Military Ball

This weekend Jordon and I went to the Military Ball. It was a lot of fun. There were a ton of people and we met a lot of new people. We went with a couple of our friends, Carte and Fallon. The guys had to wear their dress blues with a few moderations. They wore a white button down shirt instead of their blue one and they didn't have to wear their hats. When we got there, there were a bunch of honor guard men standing outside the entrance and when someone walked in they would hold their swords up over your head. It was really neat.

Me and Jordon got professional pictures made and then walked around and introduced ourselves to a few people. We met the Lt. Col., Capt., 2nd Lt., Col. Hall (President of Tyndall AFB), officers that Jord has launched out in his jet, the medal of honor holder, and many more!!! It was really fun, then they rang a bell calling everyone to the ball room for dinner. The ball room was amazing, it was huge.

Everyone had a specific table that you sat at during dinner and the introductions. We had table 10, so we were right up front!! We were right by the stage. Once everyone got to their seats they presented the colors and stood at attention for the National Anthem. Then they recognized the top people of the base. We all toasted USA, the base, and certain people. Then the saddest part of the night was when we all were seated and a bagpipe player began a song and the honor guard marched toward an empty table seated for one, with 5 wine glasses on it, it was a toast for all the fallin soldiers. The table Jordon and I sat at was right beside it. It was really special. I would have to say that was my favorite part of the night.

Then we ate an amazing dinner and watched a slideshow of different events and people on base. Jordon was on the slideshow playing golf with his Captain. It was really neat. After dinner there was a cake cutting and then entertainment and dancing. We had an amazing time!

Labor Day Weekend

Friday after work and school, Jordon and I and a bunch of our friends went to Friday Fest here in Panama City. It's a festival that the town has on the first Friday of every month and it's just a bunch of booths with food, drinks, lots of different live music, and a car show. It is a lot of fun. Me and my friend Fallon walked around and listened to music and had a lot fun. Saturday Jordon was on call and had to work all day so I went maternity clothes shopping with Shandel and out to lunch at Red Robin with her and the girls. Later that night Jordon and I had a few friends over to play games and watch football! Even though both of our teams lost; we still had a good time watching them play... :)

Sunday Jordon and I went to Destin to shop for a dress for the Military Ball this coming Saturday. We are both so excited to go! It's on the beach at a new resort. After a lot of shopping around, I found a formal black cocktail dress to wear! Then later we went to lunch at our favorite place; Panera Bread!!! Later that night we had a few of our friends over and we all played card games and Jenga! It was a lot of fun! We all stayed up till about 4:00 Monday morning! Monday me and Jordon studied for the most part of the day and then decided to spend the rest at the beach! Hahaha sometimes we just can't resist! : )

Nursing School

Nursing school so far has been going really good. It is extremely hard and time consuming. I feel like all I do is eat, sleep, study nursing. Haha I really love it though, it has been an awesome and rewarding experience. Right now we have completed 3 courses and I am taking 2 more right now; medical terminology and structure and function which is basically Anatomy. Our clinicals are my favorite. I have learned so much from them and it is so very worth it. Without Jordon's support it would be much harder. He has been here for me through all the late night studying, flash cards, and crazy homework. He is the most amazing husband; and of course best friend!

Brother and Cousin come visit!

My brother Chase and my cousin Orrin came down to visit for the weekend right before Chase had to start back at school. They spent most of their visit in the airport because the flights were so bad. But they eventually got here Friday night. Me and Jord took them to go eat oysters at a local resturant. They had'nt ever had oysters but we had to make them try em'. To make a long story short, they ended up loving them!!! Crazy!! After that we took them down to the beach and we all walked along the coast for a while. It was a lot of fun to catch up with them after not seeing them in a while. Later we came home and just played games at the house while the weather was horrible. The next day we got up and went to the base and rented a pontoon boat for the day! It was a lot of fun! We fished and swam and then we parked the boat at Shell Island and ran around with Rocky and swam in the ocean and jumped waves. (That's Rocky's favorite thing to do) Later me and my brother started looking around in the water for sand dollars; well there are small fish that will swim between your legs while your walking around, as soon as me and Chase would see a sand dollar and reach down to get it Rocky would go under water and try to eat the fish and then we would loose it! Hahaha so to make a long story short we never found any sand dollars. Later that night we all went to the fish market and bought shrimp and oysters, we came home and Jordon, Chase, and Orrin all shucked oysters while I boiled up a bunch of cajun shrimp! It was really good!!! We all had a great time!!!

Dolphins

One day after school and work Jordon and I went out on a friend's boat and went fishing for a few hours. It was really relaxing and the weather was really nice. We pretty much stayed around the base and then went to Shell Island for a while. When the guys started fishing, me and Caroline decided to jump off the boat and swim. We swam a bit and then one of the guys said he had something; so we jumped back on the boat and when they reeled it in, it was a SHARK! Right where we were swimming!!! It was a baby so you know there had to be a momma shark somewhere. It was really scary and now I'm really weird about swimming where I can't see or when it's really dark outside. Haha Later we decided to go find a shrimp boat and buy some fresh shrimp from them. Once we found a shrimp boat, as we started to get close we could see a lot of dolphins swimming behing it. We pulled up to the shrimp boat and hooked on to the back of it. Me, Jordon, and Caroline stayed on the boat and tried to pet them! As we leaned over and put our hands out, they came up and we were able to pet their heads!!!! It was the coolest thing ever!!! It was me and Jordon's first time petting a wild dolphin! It was a lot of fun! There were about 10 dolphins and they were about 15 ft long!

On July 11th, I had my first car accident. It was probably the most scariest day of my life. My best friend Brittni came to visit from GA and we were on the way to town to meet Jordon at the GMC dealership to look around and get an estimate on my car for trade-in. We were about 3 blocks away from the dealership and a Suzuki SUV pulled out of a parking lot and turned into my lane and hit me head on. He was going about 25 mph and I was stopped. My airbags blew and once we realized what happened we jumped out of the car and ran across the street. We were really shook up but once the police arrived we calmed down a bit. Since Jord was just up the street he was there right away. I drove a Honda Civic EX coupe, this is what it did to my car.

After everything was settled, me and Jordon ended up getting a 2010 Chevy Equinox. We really like it a lot, it gets close to the gas milage as my Honda and it has much more room! Rocky loves it! Haha

The beach!

This weekend we decided to go try out a church here in Lynn Haven we have been wanting to go to! We absolutely loved it! The people were very friendly and the service was really interesting! After church we decided to go to the beach and go fishing with Jarrod, Shandel, thier kids, and some of Jordon's friends from work!!! The weather was so nice this weekend, it was very relaxing! We ended up catching a ton of fish! We caught about ten spanish mackerel, a few catfish, a few pompano, and a large FLOUNDER!! Those have become my favorite fish just because of the way they look and their eyes! haha

Memorial Day Weekend!

This weekend Amanda and JJ came down to visit for the long weekend. Jordon was off on Friday through Monday as well as me so we all decided to spend the long weekend together. It rained most of the time but we still managed to have a good time. We went to Destin one day for a little bit of sight seeing and a little shopping. On Sunday we ended up going to the beach all day and we had a great time! We spent the whole day on the beach fishing, (which is what me and Jordon always do in our spare time, it's our new favorite thing to do here in Florida) with the dogs. We went to Mexico Beach and took the poles and dogs and had a great time. Jordon and I have been spending quite a bit of time with Rocky trying to teach him how to stay with us on the beach without having to be on a leash while we fish. He did such an amazing job, he was right under Jord's feet the whole time!!! It was so cute! He absolutely loves the fish! Haha Chloe wasn't into the ocean as much but she still had a good time!!! We also ended up going to Jarrod and Shandel's house one night too to play Rock Band. It was a lot of fun too! All in all it was a great weekend!!

My best friend's name is Brittni. She has been my best friend for eleven years and we are very inseperable. She was actually my first "real" friend growing up, moving around and all. She was my maid of honor for those of you who attended the wedding! Well anyways, her and her boyfriend Robert and they're dog Levi came down to visit me and Jordon for a week. We had tons of fun; we went to the beach and took the dogs swimming. Of course I couldn't keep Rocky out of the ocean but Levi was not into it that much! Haha While they were down visiting, Robert asked Brittni to marry him on the beach at sunset! To make a long story short, it was a great visit!!

This past weekend was extremely fun! Amanda and JJ came down for a long weekend and also brought Rocky and Chloe. It rained most of the weekend but on Sunday it was really pretty outside.We decided to rent a boat for the whole day, we left at around 8am Sunday morning and headed to the beach. Once we got on the boat and were ready to start the day of fishing, Jordon and JJ realized they forgot the squid they were gonna use for bait. So they made me and Amanda go all the way back to the house to get it and when we did the dogs looked so sad and just really wanted to go, so me and Amanda packed up their stuff and headed back to the boat! Neither one of them had ever been on a boat before and were just absolutely excited! Once we got going out on the ocean they hopped up on the seats and just loved it! We went out about 2 miles and stopped to fish. It was interesting trying to keep the dogs away from the squid and keep Rocky out of the water, but it was fun. After a while of fishing we docked at an island and just let the dogs run and swim in the ocean! They were just so happy and we were so glad we ended up taking them! We didn't even get a bite but it was totally worth the trip for the dogs!! And when we got home, they were so tired they wouldn't move! Haha

The Journey!

As you all may know, Jordon and I recently got married as of February 21st, 2009. We now live in Lynn Haven, FL and we absolutely love it! It took us quite a while to find a house we really liked but we finally found one after looking at what felt like the whole country! The drive from TX to here took us three days (long days) but it was a lot of fun. Of course all Jordon's friends made the drive with us. Once we got here I decided to go on a deep sea fishing trip with a couple of my good friends from GA. It was a blast! I love to go fishing so it kept me occupied while Jordon in processed at the base. We caught some huge grouper and a couple snapper. We even caught a flounder which was really cool to me because I have never caught one of those before and never even knew that both eyes are on the same side of their body! It was really neat! Jordon also graduated tech school in Witchita Falls, TX right before the move to FL. It was really neat and a great experience. He was awarded the "Top Performer Award" and he also got an award for "Most frequent farter". (which I'm sure doesn't suprise any of you) Now he is finishing up his "Hott Training" here at Tyndall and he graduates that on April 9th, so not much longer before he is on his own with the F15's. He took a few pictures with some of his friends in the class and they just thought they looked so good. If you ask me I think they looked like they were posing for a magazing cover! Haha. -->boys!
